That's Plenty Rabbie
Invercarse Hotel
24 Jan 2019
'That's Plenty Rabbie', in association with The Dundee License Trade Association and supporting The Archie Foundation, took place on Thursday 24th January 2019 at the Invercarse Hotel.
Still Game’s Mark Cox ('Tam' Mullen) and Jane McCarry ('Isa' Drennan) alongside Taggart's Colin McCredie (DC Stuart Fraser), Karen LOGAN (Bucks Fizz) and Cutting Edge Ceilidh Band entertained a crowd of around two hundred and fifty.
Dundee City Pipe Band’s John McBain piped in guests on their arrival, ahead of a traditional four-course meal with complimentary whisky. Scotland's best-loved actors then gave their hilarious, up to the minute take on some of the world’s best-known literary works including their witty slant on the 'Immortal Memory', the 'Toast to the Lassies' and the 'Reply'.
Former Bucks Fizz vocalist Karen Logan gave fantastic renditions of My Luve is Like a Red Red Rose, Ae Fond Kiss and Caledonia, with Cutting Edge Ceilidh Band completing the evening with a lively contemporary mix of rocky ceilidh dances.
